We want you to enjoy our recruitment process and see it as an opportunity to express yourself and learn about our firm. To help you do so, we have included some advice and guidance below. We hope it enables you to focus your energy on getting the job.
- Find out as much as possible about us; look at our brochure; read our website thoroughly; and take the opportunity to talk to us at events on campus.
- Think about examples you might want to use to demonstrate your experience and skills in advance; think of particular achievements you have had and problems that you have overcome. These can be from an academic, extracurricular or work experience perspective.
- Print off a copy of your application form and read through it prior to your interview, preparation is essential. Prepare your CV for each employer – it should be tailored to show you will be indispensable to WHK Gosling Chapman, not every company you may be applying for.
- Think about questions you might want to ask an interviewer, remember this is your opportunity to find out as much about us as possible.
- Visit your careers office for advice on completing your application form. Try practicing the interview - remember first impressions count.
- Relax – easier than it sounds we know, but we are not here to make this difficult for you. Our interviewers are trained to get the best evidence from you in the time that you have, so enjoy it. Make sure that you listen to each question the interviewer is asking and think about your best example.
