Chris joined Horwath Porter Wigglesworth in 1987, coming from an Auckland sharebroking firm. Chris then obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree and CA qualifications while working in the firm's Business Services Division.
Chris progressed within HPW and in 1995 headed their Tax division before becoming a principal in 2000. After HPW became part of WHK Gosling Chapman in 2007, Chris transitioned into the firm by becoming the lead Tax principal at WHK Gosling Chapman. After a short hiatus, Chris returned in October 2008, rejoining to lead our Tax division.
Chris provides specialist tax advice to our clients, other Chartered Accountants and Law firms, and one off opinions to businesses who have their own in house accounting team.
